Letterpress is an amazing artform – it’s been around since the 15th century, first started by Johannes Gutenberg (famous printer of the Gutenberg Bible) to print books and other literary works, until sadly it was replaced by digital printing techniques. Now coming back into fashion, it’s more recently been used by artists and designers to create printworks; in particular, it’s increasignly used to create highly detailed greetings cards, invitations and business cards.

Vintage is a design genre that is being covered in all aspects of media in recent months, whether it is for the web or printed media you most likely have stumbled upon a piece of vintage design. Activities such as burlesque has had a huge revival and this has contributed to the surge in vintage design as it has attracted many people to the imagery of the 40′s and 50′s.
