Mosaics of all types have been around for years and years. In more recent years, mainly due to modern technology such as digital cameras and personal computers, creatives have been able to play around with photography in ways that they never have before (well, at least without having to develop hundreds of photos!).

This showcase features a selection of extremely detailed mosaics of various subjects such as animals and eyes, all of which have been produced by stitching hundreds of different photos together, cleverly positioning each one depending on it’s colour and contrast.
