Impressive Examples Of Minimalism In Web Design (Part Two)

Minimalism in web design is a very popular trend at the moment and there is a great reason to why that is. It makes the usability of a site look superb, and in general the majority of people like the look of minimal and clean designs – you’d be surprised at how many sites suffer from user loss just because they’re not 100% happy with how it looks or works.

Part two of this showcase features a selection of impressive and rather beautiful examples of the minimalism trend in web design. What do you think of minimal designs?

Nice post man, all of them are admirable… but Ed Merritt’s efforts is my pick of the bunch. Very cool site.

Interesting references. Some nice ‘minimalist’ work.

It would be good to see some references and thoughts on larger, more complex content heavy sites (such as corporate or enterprise websites).

It’s clearly a positive thing to strive for simplicity and clarity in terms of online communication, but this is easier said than done when you have hundreds of pages and multiple audiences to satisfy and engage with.
