Logos as you know them are everywhere we look – but they’re not always all that great. We see a bunch of boring logos every single day, and to be honest, the world could be spiced up some what if people took more time over their logos and paid attention to the smaller details.

I like/love them all, except the Office Assistant logo, which brought back bad memories of Windows 97 and “Clippy”: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Office_Assistant

Great collection of logo’s. I actually done one very similar to Storybook kitchen when I worked with BT.

The bulbstorm and gravity are probably my two favorites. Simple concepts, but nicely executed.

awesome list, my favorite here would probably be gravity, so simple yet it gives a strong brand. most of the logos here I have also seen in logo pond.

Some of these are fab, but some not so great. Can’t say I wish I had thought of all of them myself.

A good logo is one that you can reduce it postage stamp size, enlarge it, change it to one color, or add it to a shirt or gym bag, and yet it retains it’s image, legibility, clarity, etc. Nice examples, thanks for sharing.

Agreed with @TFHackett, the office assistant one also looks a little like… ahem.. maybe you see it. When you make a logo, make sure it isn’t too phallic.

I’d like to point out that for a logo to be awesome, even the company name should be different, if not downright awesome. Gives enough room to work around with it & create something magical.
I know there is nothing awesome about the name “Apple”, but it doesn’t talk about computers & it’s simple, allowing the designers to work on it as they pleased.
And yes, I wish I had thought of these logos myself ;-D
